Christmas pop out card

Today I learnt how to make a Christmas pop out card. The hard thing about making this card was trying to design the christmas tree and getting it in place. The easy thing about the card was writting something out to the firemen who give there time up for the community.

Class Kizoa

Last week I made a Kizoa about me and my class. It was easy to make but it was tricky looking for the right photos.
Soaring through the photos I picked out 25 awesome photos from my class photos and 9 great photos of me and my family. I liked making this kizoa it was fun and it made me happy. Just tab on the word kizoa to see my kizoa.

LANDSCAPE

Last week I made a Landscape using google drawing. Making a landscape out of google drawing was awesome because I was getting into using a dozen shapes. The hard part about making this landscape was using a dozen shape to fill in all the gaps of my other shapes. I really enjoyed using a ton of awesome shapes. 

Build a neighborhood

Today I measure the Area and Perimeter of our Burger King. I spent a couple of minutes finding out the Area and Perimeter of our Burger king. I all so found out the Area and Perimeter of our rugby field. The hard thing about today's lesson was making sure the area and perimeter of the rugby field and Burger King was right.

This week we have been making  our own street. To make our street we are  making a draft and measuring  the area and perimeter of our street. This project made me think of using my head and communicate with my mates around me.  

Last day of school!! 😎 😎

Last Friday was the last day of school. Was a good day chilling out with each other here is a couple of photos on that day.

Room 3 assembly 😎

Last week was our assembly. I liked our assembly because Tahurangi, Te Aranga Mai and I stood up on the stage and sang a amazing song by an amazing singer named Aaradhna the song we sang was was wake up. The hard thing for me was standing in front of an audience but apart from that was awesome.

Training day

This week has been fun because my teacher has made us do some amazing pieces of writing. And our topic was Underwater hurdles. I loved that I do writing it is really cool.                                                                                                        
                                                            Underwater hurdles
 It is exciting practising for underwater hurdles because it is breathtaking to be underwater competing. At first I panicked because we had to lift gigantic rocks but when I got into handling a gigantic rock it became alright. After practising for a long time I became good and good at it every time. On the island where i lived was fun doing the hurdles because I felt hysterical feeling the soft sand beneath my feet. As I sank deeper and deeper into the light blue sea I suddenly panic for air I was that breathless I pushed off from the soft sand and up towards the surface. Struggling for air I scrambled to the surface, finally reaching the top took jumbo breaths of air. Until my coach screamed out it is not time for a break get under that amazing cold water I shouted back ok. So I dived back into the light blue sea blowing bubbles from my nose. Getting to the bottom of the sea bed trying to find my giant rock. Half a minute later I struggled to find my rock. After one minute I finally found my giant rock. Yay I thought to myself while underwater. As I swam back up towards the surface I asked my coach “what was the time” he replied back “it’s time for my star to rest for the big day tomorrow”. “Oh ok” I said. Walking back to my house I slid into my bed and waited to the big day came.

Kia Ora I have been using a thinglink to tell everybody a bit about me. I hated to use thinglink because it was hard doing all these links. But I liked putting up things about me.

Conveting Cm into Mm

Today we have been learning how to convert cm into mm for math. We used rulers to measure the length and width of the picture in cm, then we convert the cm into mm. I found this lesson easy.

Today at school we had  Matariki with the whole school. It was really amazing going into other classes do more fun activity with the little kids.  My highlights of the day was having lots of fun with my friends.
