Co-Operate with Matua Bodene

Today I learnt a game with matua Bodene about how to co-operate and communicate.

My favourite part of our time with matua was when we got into evenly spread teams and played 2 fun communication games. My second favourite part was when we played one of the games with the team members. The game we had played was a really awesome game because we had to communicate and use a bunch of strategies as we played. The  aim of the game was getting each team member from one side of the court to a nearby line without out touching the ground. We used little disc to get us over the line. The hard part of the game was getting all team members over  the line without touching the ground because we didn’t think to much of a plan to get us to the finish line. I know now to think about a plan instead of going for it.

Opinion writing

Today I learnt a different piece of writing called Opinion writing. I liked learning about this writing because it was awesome and made me think.

One thing that was hard about this piece was making opinions and turning it into a full paragraphs.

RUAPEKAPEKA

Just yesterday my class  room 3 had a class trip to Ruapekapeka pa. I learnt so many new things about Ruapekapeka things I didn't even know about. I learnt that Ruapekapeka was the last wars in the north islands. I learnt that the wars started at Russell and ended up in Ruapekapeka. Hone heke Pokai was chief at the age of 36. Yesterday was really amazing getting to know more and more facts about Ruapekapeka thanks to my uncle Albert.

RUAPEKAPEKA RESEARCH

This week I have researched the history and more about Ruapekapeka pa. I liked researching about Ruapekapeka because it was fun and I all so learnt lots of new things like Ruapekapeka is one of the larges pa in New Zealand. It was really easy to find facts about Ruapekapeka and lots of fun.
