Maths

Today I learnt about the analog clocks and how to read it. What I found easy was telling the time on our tiny analog clocks. The hard thing was showing it on the clock because I always got confused with the long arm and the short arm. I think if I keep on working with the mini analog clocks I'll nail how to tell the time and how to show it by the end of the term.

Decimals, Fractions and percentages

This week I have been learning about decimals, Fractions and percentages. At first I found it hard then as I got the hang of it I found it easy. I think if I keep working hard with decimals, fractions and percentages I would ace them all. But for now I'll continue to work hard.

Talk to move

This week we I've been learning how to use talk moves in math. The talk moves are to help people understand other people's answer in math. A sentences I use is what is another strategy I can use to check. I think I need a little more work with the talk moves because they really do help me understand math better. I feel like I'm getting good at my maths with this talk to move in maths it's helped me so much.

Reading

This week in reading I was learning about text to self, text to world and text to text. I got to choose a novel from our school library to take home and read. The book I chose was a book from one of my favourite author's named ROALD DAHL.The book was CHARLIE AND THE GREAT GLASS ELEVATOR. The easy part about reading this week was understanding  what  text to self was. My next step in my reading journey is to learn about text to world. I still need abit of help with my text to text and text to world.
